Half the payment my mechanic could get it for...overnight s/h!
I was shocked/surprised to see I could get an alternator off Amazon. Couldn't definitely be happier. It was usual to fetch twice this to get one locally, and about 40% more to even get a rebuilt one, so this seemed like a no brainer, specially combined with Prime shipping to get it immediately. Alternator went in nice, mechanic was very impressed. This went into a 2001 VW Jetta TDI for what it matters.
